The “Marché des Capucins” in Bordeaux is named the “belly of the city”. Commissioned by Gaby Farage ( Bruit du Frigo ) on the occasion of EVENTO 2011, we decided to reopen every night for 10 days the inner street of the market. A ten 10 days performance to celebrate the grandeur of that popular place in the Quartier Saint Jean.

Under the menace of a demolition act, the Palast of the Republik was to live its splendor once more under the name of Volkpalast (the palace of the people). Raumlabor, the berlin based collective decided to occupy and open the monument to the public. Many architecture installations were planned. EXYZT got on board to sculpt its appearance in the former huge auditorium.
